About Me

I am a person who truly cares about others. I am someone who wants to help you be the best that you can be.  I know from my own path that anything is possible. I believe self-love, self-worth, courage and inner peace can save the world by helping one person at a time.

In 2014, I answered the call to serve in this ministry.  After years of prayer, meditation and my desire to seek out and study the Bible, I recognized God’s prompting during a one-year, weekly retreat experience of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.  In 2018, I was commissioned as a Spiritual Director through the Spiritual Direction Program under the tutelage of S. Josephine Dasparo, CSJ, D. Min. at St. Joseph Renewal Center in Brentwood, New York.  I am a member of Spiritual Directors International.

I reside on Long Island with my amazing and ever-patient husband, Greg Wood.  We are a busy, scattered and blended family with five bright and beautiful children between us.  We are members of a local, non-denominational Christian Church where we actively volunteer in a variety of ministries; Greg as a Sunday school leader for middle school children, and I at the Connections Center welcoming visitors and assisting new comers with inquiries.  I also lead a Bible Study for Beginners class geared to those looking to embrace God’s word. Greg and I also lead Life Groups for couples in the Spring and Fall.

I currently work full time in the public service sector. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching from AAAC, a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics, a Masters Degree in Human Services Leadership and Graduate Certificates in Advanced Negotiations, Conflict Resolution and Industrial Organizational Psychology from Notre Dame University, Cornell University and Northcentral University. However, the most fruitful education I continue to receive is through my daily life experiences with others and seeing God in all things.  His constant revelation throughout each moment of the day continues to teach me more than any classroom education I have received so far.
